Maximilian Werner is the author of seven books, including Wolves, Grizzlies, and Greenhorns: Death and Coexistence in the American West, as well as numerous articles and essays. Werner teaches Investigative Environmental Writing, Writing about War, and Intermediate Writing at the University of Utah, where he is a Professor in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric Studies.
