Alice Blumenfeld is a dance artist and scholar. She is passionate about sharing the history, culture, and expressive power of flamenco with her community. She earned a BA in Comparative Literature from NYU, graduating with highest departmental honors, summa cum laude, and Phi Beta Kappa. She holds an MFA in dance from Hollins University. Blumenfeld has received two Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Awards for her choreography in 2020 & 2022. She is a Fulbright Grant recipient, an Urgent Art Fund recipient (Spaces Gallery), and a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts.
